Enrolment Terms

Terms and Conditions of Training

Please read this agreement carefully before accessing or using the information and services available through the edway.edu.au website (“Site”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions below. Edway Training Pty Ltd may modify this agreement at any time, and such modifications shall be effective immediately upon posting the modified agreement on the Site.

Course Price

Edway Training Pty Ltd reserves the right to change course price at any time without notice and such change shall be effective immediately upon posting the new price on the Site.

Prepaid Special Terms

The prepaid special discounted price is only applicable to prepayments (i.e. payments made before the scheduled date of training) made via the website or telephone bookings with a credit card or cash payments made in person.

Please note that the prepaid special discounted price does NOT apply to the invoice payment method.

Invoice Payment Method Terms

The prepaid special discounted price does NOT apply to the invoice payment method. When this method of payment is used, the full price applies. For an invoice to be valid and issued, a Purchase Order (PO) must be submitted prior to the date of training.
PO must include 1) Participant’s name 2) Course and date of training 3) Company details (company name, address, ABN) 4) Contact details.
Invoices will only be issued after training has been completed (as long as the proper procedure has been observed).

Refund and Transfer Policies

White Card Courses

Refunds
  • More than 48 business hours days written notice = *full refund
  • Within 48 business hours of your course = no refund
  • No refund will be issued after transferring your enrolment to another practical session
  • Participants that are more than 20 minutes late for their scheduled course will be rescheduled at a 50% fee
  • If you do not bring the correct ID no refund will be issued
  • If you do not bring the correct ID and wish to be transferred a 50% rebooking fee will apply

*All refunds will be charged less 2% of the course cost (to cover bank transaction fees), plus a $10 administration fee.

Transfer to another date
  • More than 48 business hours written notice = no charge.
  • Notice given within 7 days of your original course date = 50% charge of the course fee
  • If you do not bring the correct ID no refund will be issued
  • If you do not bring the correct ID and wish to be transferred a 50% rebooking fee will apply
  • Course fees cannot be refunded once you transfer your enrolment to another date
  • Certificates will be withheld until all transfer fees have been paid

 

First Aid/CPR/Childcare First Aid/Asthma Anaphylaxis (face to face) Courses

Refunds
  • More than 48 business hours written notice = full refund*
  • Notice of cancellation given within 48 business hours of your course = no refund
  • No refund will be issued after transferring your enrolment to another practical session
  • Participants that are more than 20 minutes late for their scheduled course will be rescheduled at a 50% fee
  • Participants that are more than 20 minutes late for their scheduled course, will forfeit all payments
  • If you have not completed the prestudy requirements, no refund is applicable.

*All refunds will be charged less 2% of the course cost (to cover bank transaction fees), plus a $10 administration fee.

Transfer to another date
  • More than 48 business hours written notice = first transfer is free of charge. Subsequent transfers incur a transfer fee charged at 50% of the course fee
  • Notice given within 48 business hours of your course = 50% charge of the course fee.
  • Participants that do not attend, or are late for their scheduled course, will forfeit all payments
  • Course fees cannot be refunded once you transfer your enrolment to another date
  • If you are sick on the day of your course and can support this with a medical certificate, you will be rescheduled to an alternate date. Subsequent transfers incur a transfer fee charged at 50% of the course fee
  • Certificates will be withheld until all transfer fees have been paid

RSA/RCG NSW Courses

  • More than 48 business hours days written notice = *full refund
  • Changes with more than 48 hours notice incur a $33 rebooking fee either to be paid by the client if the booking is to be rescheduled
  • Changes with less than 48 hours notice incur a $77 rebooking fee either to be paid by the client if the booking is to be rescheduled

 

Get Skilled, Get Certified Programs & Qualification Courses (WHS/Leadership & Management etc)

Refunds

  • Once enrolled and booked into a training course, any initial payment is non-refundable. Any subsequent payments received are also non-refundable

Transfer to another date

  • More than 10 days written notice = first transfer is free of charge. Subsequent transfers incur a transfer fee charged at 50% of the course fee
  • Notice given within 10 days of your original course date = 50% charge of the course fee
  • Certificates will be withheld until all transfer fees have been paid

In the event of the course being cancelled due to insufficient enrolments, candidates will be offered a full refund or may elect to transfer to another course date. Once the transfer has been confirmed, the above policy is applicable for any transfer or cancellation requests

 

Classroom Skilled / Certified Programs Courses (WHS/Leadership & Management etc)

  • Once the intake is closed, students will be required to make payment within 5 days.
  • Students can arrange for payment prior to the intake close date.
  • Training Aid Australia will only proceed with a program if sufficient enrolments are received.
  • If the course is cancelled, a full refund will be provided to students.
  • Once intake closes and enrolment is confirmed, any initial payment is non-refundable. Any subsequent payments received are also non-refundable.

Transfer to another date

  • Transfer of enrolment to another date is not available for these programs
  • Some special circumstance may be considered however, 50% charge of the course fee will apply
  • Certificates will be withheld until all transfer fees have been paid

 

All Online Training Courses

Once enrolled and booked into an online training course, any initial payment is non-refundable. Any subsequent payments received during the online or distance learning course are also non-refundable.

Edway Training Reserves the right to place a default with Baycorp Advantage if the paid funds are withdrawn by yourself or your bank.

Interpreter/Translator Policy

Some training courses (please refer to particular course requirements) allow the use of interpreters and translators.

For those participants whom require the use of an interpreter or translator please be aware that the following conditions must be abided by:

If a participant is to bring a family member, colleague or friend to act an interpreter or translator, the translator must not have completed a white card course with us. We will check our records to indicate whether or not the translator was a former customer. We must receive notice that a translator is going to attend the course 48 business hours before the scheduled start time.

Special Needs Participants

If there is a participant who requires special needs assistance, Edway Training must be informed a minimum of 48 business hours prior to the scheduled course starting time.

Your Privacy

Edway Training  policy is to maintain your privacy when you visit our site. Any personal details sent to us will be kept confidential and are subject to Privacy Laws.
We do not pass on, sell or swap any of your personal details with any third-party. We use information provided to identify your bookings. When you send us an email, we may use your email address to contact you in future. We may contact you for clarification of a request from you or to answer your query, but we will not sell or pass on your details, except where they act as agents for us and the information is required to deliver your requested goods or services.

Security Policy

When purchasing from Edway Group your financial details are passed through a secure server using the latest 128-bit SSL (secure sockets layer) encryption technology. 128-bit SSL encryption is the Australian financial industry standard. Online Payments

Payments made via the website are facilitated by PayPal payment gateway and Westpac merchant facility.

Disclaimer

Unique Students Identifier (USI)

Under Commonwealth Legislation and a condition of registration, every Registered Training Organisation must collect and verify students USIs before issuing Qualifications or Statements of Attainment for any nationally recognised training to be undertaken. 

By accepting these Terms and Conditions you give Edway Training permission to locate your USI using a USI Register if USI is not provided to Edway Training at the time of enrolment. If you do not consent to Edway Training locating your USI, Edway Training must be notified in wring by sending an email to info@edway.edu.au. Please note, that in this case you will not be issued with a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment/Qualification and your training will not be recorded in National USI Register.
